Bruch mowing and mulching
Brush mowing and mulching is an effective alternative to hand clearing and brushing, used to remove unwanted trees and vegetation from your property or worksite. Mulching is an effective way to create new usable land or maintain current access by mulching the vegetation that is standing. The mulch chips create a layer on the ground that helps to slow the regrowth process which helps minimize your maintenance.
We utilize excavator mounted mulchers which allow us to minimize disruption to your property. By having the mulching head attached to an excavator it allows us better control of the area being mulched. We can mulch any vegetation up to a diameter of 10 inches and with a reach of up to 25 feet we are able to reach in from the sides of roadways, rail beds and access roads without disturbing the underlying area. It also allows us the ability to selectively remove trees and brush from specific areas without disturbing their surroundings. We can reach over and around signs, guardrails or any other immovable obstructions. We are also able to mulch under power lines or along the edges of bodies of water or marshy areas without having to walk the equipment directly into these areas.
When working in restricted areas the excavator mounted mulchers are an excellent option as they allow us the ability to direct all the debris directly to the ground rather than being discharged to the rear of the machine. With a footprint of as little as 6 feet wide our zero swing machines are excellent for working alongside roadways and railbeds, creating minimal traffic disruption while still being effective. We can mulch 1.5 – 2 acres per day, per machine, or when doing along roadways roughly 2 kms of roadway edge clearing up to 5 meters.
